Local-First Data Storage
HEPTA is architected with a strict privacy-first, local-first philosophy. All of your tasks, notes, routines, schedules, and milestones are stored securely on your local device hardware using encrypted storage mechanisms.
We do not transmit, sync, or backup your tasks to external cloud servers without your explicit, deliberate action. Your personal productivity data remains on your hardware.
Biometric Vault Security
The HEPTA Vault utilizes native Android Biometric APIs (Fingerprint / Face Unlock). Your sensitive biometric signature never leaves your device's Secure Element / Trusted Execution Environment (TEE).
Biometric authentication data is completely inaccessible to the HEPTA app code itself and is handled strictly by OS hardware drivers.
Calendar & Grid Integration
If you choose to grant Calendar permissions to HEPTA, the app reads your calendar entries strictly locally to render your daily work schedule on the interface.
We do not store, modify, or transmit your calendar data externally to our servers or any third parties under any circumstances.
HEPTA Web Application (WeekStack)
HEPTA operates a dedicated web interface accessible at https://weekstack-web.vercel.app/.
The Web Client functions as a progressive, offline-capable application. When you create boards or edit schedules on WeekStack:
- All data is written directly to your browser's local storage and IndexedDB.
- No network requests sending task contents or personal notes are made to remote databases.
- Your browser session remains self-contained. Clearing browser site data erases the web storage completely.
Third-Party Tracking & Analytics
HEPTA mobile and web versions are free of intrusive ad-tracking pixels, third-party user profile builders, or invasive telemetry SDKs.
We do not monetize, sell, or exchange user usage data because we do not collect or possess it.
Data Control & Deletion
Because HEPTA is local-first, you hold full authority over your data lifetime.
Uninstalling the Android app, clearing application storage in system settings, or clearing browser cache for weekstack-web.vercel.app will instantly and permanently erase all locally stored databases.
